Ingredients
Enjoy these as a quick snack, or on the side with a meal. Bring to a party or holiday gathering. The creaminess of the cream cheese and the buttery flavor of the crescent rolls provide a scrumptious combination, and help to mask the taste of the spinach. The spinach leaves add a powerful source of nutrition. These are quick and easy to make.
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Unroll the dough and separate into 8 triangles on an ungreased cookie sheet. (We followed the directions on the crescent rolls can.)
- We used Pillsbury Grands! Crescents Big and Buttery.
Add 1 to 2 smears of cream cheese onto each dough triangle, or add enough to cover the inside of the unbaked crescent rolls. Add more or less, per your preference.
- We used the Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese 16 wt oz container (No Artificial Preservatives. No Artificial Flavors or Dyes. Made with Fresh Milk and Real Cream).
Add about 6 to 8 of the baby spinach leaves on top of the cream cheese. Add more or less per taste.
- We used Nature’s Promise Organic Baby Spinach 5 wt oz container (USDA Organic. No GMO Ingredients. No Prohibited Synthetic Ingredients. No Prohibited Chemical Pesticides).
Roll up the triangles, starting at the wide end. Curve each into a crescent shape if desired.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until deep golden brown. We baked ours for 13 minutes. Remove the crescent rolls once baked, let cool, and enjoy!
