There are so many different ways to make a tasty pizza! We both really enjoy pulled pork. We have also tried pulled pork sandwiches with pickles on top, and love the extra crunch and tang that the pickles add to the sandwich. We decided to combine our love of pizza and pulled pork sandwiches with this pulled pork pickle pizza. The creamy ranch, warm crust, warm and melted cheese, and flavors of the pickles and pork make this dish one to try! The pork is so flavorful and tender. The slow cooker also provides a great option for cooking the pork, if you don't have a smoker, and want a way to cook the pork right in the kitchen. There were leftovers of the pork, after adding the pork to the pizza, which is awesome! The leftovers taste just as great as the day that the pizza is made. It can be re-warmed in the oven or microwave. The leftover pork can also be enjoyed on a sandwich.

This may be a good option if you like egg salad sandwiches, but don't want eggs, or to try something a little different. Chickpeas can help to aid in digestion and provide a plant-based protein. They also provide other health benefits, such as fiber, calcium, iron, folate, phosphorus, and manganese. The vegetables in this dish provide additional nutrients, such as antioxidants to support the immune system and vitamin c. The vinegar is not overpowering. It provides a little tang to this meal, and pairs nicely with the other flavors. This is a refreshing and light meal, which will not make you feel uncomfortably full. Disclaimer: The serving size may vary a little, depending on the type of bread you use. We used bagels, but a different type of bread may be used instead, if preferred.

Pickles, cheese, and ranch dressing are a tasty combination. Add in a pizza crust, and this meal brings about resemblances of a fried pickle. The warm melted cheese, pickles, and crust also remind Amy of a warm pita melt. If you are a pickle fan, you should definitely try this pizza. The hints of garlic and dill smell wonderful while cooking, and will make your stomach grumble in anticipation of the taste. The pre-made crust and small amount of ingredients helps to make this a quick prep and cook time recipe. It is also a kid-friendly recipe. Kids may enjoy adding the cheese or pickles on top of the pizza. Optionally add additional ranch or your favorite sauce on the side for dipping. We tried a stone ground mustard on the side, which we enjoyed! An additional suggested option is to try it with bacon on top.

These healthy, bite-sized treats can be eaten at any time of the day, including as a healthier dessert option. They are also a great quick on-the-go snack. The unbaked mixture smells really good while making these, as does the mixture while it is baking. These are also a nice kid-friendly recipe option. Kids may enjoy helping to mix the ingredients together or rolling the ingredients into a ball to place into the baking cups. Optionally use a sprinkle of roasted cinnamon on these for a roasted flavor.

This dish makes the kitchen smell great. It also provides an excellent helping of different vegetables. The melted cheese combined with the vegetables brings about a nice creaminess and crunchiness to this meal. Optionally try with bacon or a sprinkle of salt, or garlic salt. Additional options are to try with ranch or salsa, or your favorite dipping sauce(s).

Amy and Kent
One of our favorite days spent together at our loved ones’ wedding.

We got married in April of 2013, while Kent was in the military. He was stationed in Germany and I was living in Maryland. Once Kent came back to the States, we finally bought a house, and we've been cooking together ever since.

We would love to see your food creations! Tag @ateaserecipes on Instagram to share your favorite dishes. 🎉
