Olive and Cheese Toast

A quick, toasty and cheesy snack, with hints of salt and tang from the olives. The olives and cheese blend well together and provide a nice flavoring. We used a broiler to toast our bread. A toaster oven or skillet may be used instead, or a toaster to toast the bread, and then place the toast into a microwave to melt the cheese.

Set the oven on a high broil and slice the olives.

Place the cheese onto the bread, and the olive slices on top of the cheese. We sliced 10 olives.

  • We used Arnold Whole Grain Oat Nut bread (26g of Whole Grains Per 2 Slices. Free from Artificial Preservatives. No Artificial Colors or Flavors. No High Fructose Corn Syrup. No Hydrogenated or Partially Hydrogenated Oils. 0g Trans Fat. Cholesterol Free. No Monoglycerides).
  • We also used Giant's brand of Deli Style Sliced Not Smoked Provolone and Giant's brand of Pitted Kalamata Olives.

Place into the oven to warm until the cheese melts.
