Ingredients
The creaminess and flavor of the cream cheese tastes so delicious with the flavors of the warmed flatbread, and other ingredients. This meal is an excellent option to eat at any time of the day. It is satiating, satisfying, and filling, but will not make you feel uncomfortably stuffed. Optionally substitute the baby spinach and spring mix with arugula.
Directions
Set the oven on a high broil, and heat the flatbreads for about 3 minutes, or until the flatbreads are warmed. A toaster oven may also be used.
- We used Toufayan Bakeries Hearth Baked Wholesome Wheat Flatbread (8g of Protein Per Serving. 0g Trans Fat Per Serving. 0mg Cholesterol).
Add the cream cheese to the flatbreads to taste.
- We used Philadelphia Original Cream Cheese Spread (No Artificial Preservatives, Flavors, or Dyes).
Add the baby spinach and spring mix on top of the cream cheese. Optionally use arugula instead of the baby spinach and spring mix.
- We used Nature's Promise Organic Baby Spinach and Spring Mix (USDA Organic. No GMO Ingredients. No Prohibited Synthetic Ingredients. No Prohibited Chemical Pesticides).
Cut the grapes into halves. We used about 10 grapes per flatbread, which we cut into halves. Then top with the grapes.
Optionally add a sprinkle of pepper or ground peppercorns.
- We tried ours with McCormick Peppercorn Medley Grinder (Non GMO), which contains a mixture of black peppercorns, coriander, pink peppercorns, white peppercorns, allspice, and green peppercorns.
