Ingredients
This meal is not only healthy, it is also very quick, and easy to make. Creamy yogurt, crunchy apple and almond slices, and flavorful and juicy fruit. The honey provides a little sweetness, and tops this meal off nicely with the cinnamon. Enjoy this dish at any time of the day. It is even a great and healthy dessert option.
Directions
Place the flatbread on a plate. Warm the flatbread if desired.
- We used Toufayan Bakeries Hearth Baked Wholesome Wheat Flatbread from the 5 count package (8g of Protein per serving. 0g Trans Fat. 0mg Cholesterol).
Spread a layer of the yogurt onto the flatbread.
- We used Giant's brand of Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt (Gluten Free) from the 32 wt oz container.
Slice the apple and add the slices on top to your preferred amount.
Add the blueberries and then the almond slices.
- We used the frozen bag of Nature's Promise Organic Blueberries (USDA Organic. Free from Synthetic Pesticides) from the 32 wt oz bag, and Giant's brand of Sliced Almonds from the 6 wt oz bag.
Top with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Optionally add a handful of granola for an additional crunch.
- We used Giant's brand of Wild Flower Honey (True Source Certified), and Kirkland Signature Ground Saigon Cinnamon.
