Cheesy Apple Crostini Bites

Fruit and cheese are a tasty combination. We decided to add in a little crunch with the addition of the crackers. These bite-sized crackers are a great snack option, which people of all ages will enjoy. The garlic on the crackers smells great while warming in the oven or toaster oven, and provides a nice flavor mixture with the other ingredients.

Fill a plate with the snack crackers.

  • We used Giant's brand of Garlic Snack Crackers.

Chop the apples and slice the cheese into small pieces. Place a piece of cheese onto each cracker.

  • We used Giant's brand of New York Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese.

Place the cheese-topped cracker into the toaster oven to melt the cheese. An oven may be used instead to melt the cheese.

Once the cheese melts, add a piece of apple on top and enjoy. Optionally top with grapes or your favorite fruits. Kent also enjoyed the cracker with the melted cheese and a sprinkle of taco seasoning, without the fruit on top.
