Ingredients
Crispy, creamy, chewy, and tasty. Bagels are one of our favorite treats. The olives add a little saltiness to this dish, but it is not overpowering. The cream cheese balances out the flavor of the olives, and the olives give an additional tastiness to the bagels. Enjoy with your favorite bagel or cream cheese flavor to try a variety of combinations.
Directions
Slice one bagel into halves, or use a pre-sliced bagel.
Add each bagel half to a toaster oven or toaster. We used a toaster oven.
- We used Thomas Plain Pre-Sliced Bagels which contains 6 pre-sliced bagels.
Spread the cream cheese onto each bagel slice to your preferred amount of cream cheese.
- We used about 2 smears of Philadelphia’s Original Cream Cheese 8 wt oz package (No Preservatives) per bagel.
Slice the olives into small pieces, and add the pieces to each bagel half.
- We used 12 Mezzetta Family Co. Pitted Greek Kalamata Olives (No Preservatives. Cholesterol Free. Gluten Free. Vegan).
Top with a sprinkle of ground peppercorns or pepper to taste.
- We used McCormick Peppercorn Medley Grinder (Non GMO), which contains a mixture of black peppercorns, coriander, pink peppercorns, white peppercorns, allspice, and green peppercorns.
