Ingredients
A quick beef and broccoli dish that includes tender strips of beef and pops of flavor. The sauce that we used includes flavors of pineapple, garlic, sesame seeds, soy sauce, and onion, which gave this dish a little bit of a tropical flavoring. Optionally try with a different sauce or your favorite sauce to compare flavors and to see what flavor combination you like best.
Directions
Add the frozen broccoli florets to a large pot and cover with water.
- We used two 16 wt oz bags of Nature's Promise Organic Broccoli Florets (USDA Organic. No GMOs. No Prohibited Synthetic Ingredients. No Prohibited Chemical Pesticides).
Heat on high for 5 minutes, and then drain the water. The texture will be firm or crunchy.
Add the olive oil to a medium-sized saute pan.
- We used Filippo Berio Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (USDA Organic).
Slice the uncooked steak into strips and add the strips to the saute pan. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes, while the cabbage is being chopped.
- We used Swift Flat Iron Steak Butcher Shop Beef (Zero Artificial Ingredients).
Chop the cabbage and add the chopped cabbage to the saute pan with the beef. Mix together. Cover and heat on medium. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Add the beef and cabbage to the pot with the broccoli. Then add the teriyaki sauce.
- We used one 20 wt oz bottle of Soy Vay Island Teriyaki Marinade and Sauce, which includes flavors of pineapple, garlic, sesame seeds, soy sauce, and onion.
Mix together. Heat on high for an additional 5 minutes to warm the sauce.
